Trying Times Faith: What God Is Doing in Your Season
Trying times faith is where real strength is built and where God does His deepest work.
There is a moment every believer faces—
when life gets hard, prayers feel delayed, and pressure builds from every direction.
Trying times don’t knock politely. They arrive suddenly.
And when they do, one question rises to the surface:
Where is God in this?
The truth is simple—and powerful:
God is not absent in your trial. He is working through it.
God Never Promised a Life Without Trials
Many people believe that following God should mean an easier life.
But Scripture says something very different.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…” — Isaiah 43:2
Notice it doesn’t say if.
It says when.
Trials are not a sign that God has left you.
They are a part of the journey of faith.
Trying times faith is where endurance is built and where trust in God becomes real.
Trying Times Faith: Trials Test and Strengthen You
Faith that has never been tested cannot be trusted.
“Count it all joy… when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” — James 1:2–3
That pressure you feel?
It’s not random.
God is using it to:
- Strengthen your endurance
- Deepen your trust
- Build a faith that doesn’t collapse under pressure
Anyone can believe when life is easy.
But real faith is revealed when everything is shaking.
In trying times, faith is not just tested—it is strengthened.
God’s Strength Shows Up in Your Weakness
Trying times often expose our limits.
But that’s exactly where God steps in.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
When you feel like you can’t go on—
that’s when God’s strength becomes undeniable.
You are not expected to carry it alone.
You are expected to trust Him through it.
God Is With You in the Middle of It
You are not walking through this season by yourself.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19
Even when you don’t feel it—
God is present.
In the fire…
In the pressure…
In the uncertainty…
He is there.
There Is Purpose on the Other Side
Trials are not the end of your story.
They are part of your preparation.
“After you have suffered a while, [God] will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” — 1 Peter 5:10
What you are going through right now is shaping who you are becoming.
- Stronger
- More grounded
- Unshakable in your faith
God doesn’t waste pain.
He uses it.
Stand Firm in Trying Times
You don’t control the storm.
But you do control your response.
You can give in… or you can stand.
Stand firm. Speak boldly. Refuse to surrender truth.
Because trying times don’t define you—
they develop you.
Final Thought
If you are in a difficult season right now, don’t lose heart.
This is not where your story ends.
This is where your faith is being built.
And when it’s over, you won’t just have survived—
you will be stronger than before.
James 1:2-4 – 2 Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
In trying times, faith will either break you or build you—choose to stand.
